GALVANNEAL
Galvanneal is obtained from a temperature treatment to the zinc coating of the steel, right after coming out of the hot deep process.
By being an alloy and not a pure coating, galvanneal presents 10% iron content on the coating, this allows it to be better than any other materials at the moment of being welded, painted and therefore gives more durability to rust when the product is painted; the galvanneal is usually uniform of a grey looking color with no spangle.
For the high content of iron on the Galvanneal it show a big wear in cosmetic rust in humid places, that is why is recommended to use painted Galvanneal in this types of environments.
